Booking a Custom Cake | How to order a cake in 3 easy steps
Step 1: Initial Inquiry
The first step of booking a custom cake is submitting an order inquiry. This process allows us to collect information regarding your cake order such as theme, serving sizes needed and any inspiration photos you may have.
If any clarification is needed, we may reach out with additional questions to provide you with the best quote to order a cake.
Booking a date with less than than 2 weeks notice will result in an additional $25 rush fee.
Please allow up to 48 hours for an initial response.
Step 2: Custom Cake Quote
Once we have reviewed the details of your cake inquiry, we provide an intial quote by email that includes the total cost to order a cake and retainer required to confirm your order. Quote include base price,additional decor elements, rush fees etc. A cake contract will also be provided to be signed and returned upon confirming your booking.
Step 3: Finalizing Your Date
To book your date, please respond to the initial quote with signed cake contract. A method of payment should be ready as all orders require a $50 non-refundable retainer to hold the date. An invoice will then be sent to your email to complete payment.
The balance must be received 7 days before the order pick up date or the order will be canceled and the retainer will not be refunded. We do not offer refunds at this time as cakes are custom and cannot be re-sold.

Allowing Creative Freedom
Cake Me Happy, LLC does not replicate other cake artists designs. We recommend providing 2 to 3 inspiration photos with as much detail as possible about the details that are most important to you.We use inspiration photos to get an overall understanding of the theme, colors and overall style of the cake.
We will discuss the final design ideas with you prior to accepting your retainer to determine if we can move forward with your request. Allowing more creative freedom for your cake order is best for creating an original design by Cake Me Happy, LLC which may include added elements at our expense.
